We went to this nice scenic area in Summer of 2019. In case you live in Northeast China and want to experience a landscape as in Guilin, this is the place to go.

We don’t remember how its called in Chinese language, but it is about 2 hours drive northeast from Dalian towards Dandong.

It is kind of a national park, there are even some attractions in there such as a big water slide, a glass walk and boat rides. You can also do kayaking/rafting there.

It is not a very big national park, but you can still spend half day or even a whole day there. There are some hiking options, but nothing too sophisticated.

We could even do some horse riding!

There is a cablecar up to one of the peaks, but there is „just“ the view to enjoy, not any hiking options…

The landscape was really stunning from the mountaintop.

We took a small boat ride on the river there.

There is not much more to say about this nice piece of nature, have a look for yourself sometime!
